Aisha “Nana” Salaudeen has joined the podcast network Visual Audio Times as the Head of Production.
Salaudeen, a journalist and multiplatform producer, will be bringing her years of experience to Visual Audio Times as the company drives its listenership and engagement for its podcasts.
“Africans have so many stories to tell; these stories are nuanced and contextual because of our backgrounds. I’m happy to bring these stories to life. I’m also excited to be joining a hardworking team”, Salaudeen says.
“We are excited Aisha is joining us. In her role, she will work closely with our podcasters in crafting their stories and commentary”, Abe says.
“We see a growing appetite for podcasts in Africa; with Aisha coming on board, we are better equipped in producing engaging formats for our thousands of listeners and more”, Alonge says.
Visual Audio Times provides localised content for Africans by curating and showcasing conversations in Pop culture, social commentary, music, politics, sports and lifestyle across the continent by connecting podcasters with a wide range of listeners worldwide.
The podcast network also provides audio production, distribution and promotion of content as a service.
It currently houses ten podcasts, partnering with creators in Nigeria, Ghana and the US.
